⏾ SOUND HEALINGWhat is Sound Healing?
Sound healing (or sound therapy) is a practice that uses resonant instruments, like singing bowls, gongs, handpans, tongue drums, tuning forks, wind chimes, and drums, to create sound and vibration around and through the body. The idea is simple: give your body space to settle, and let the sound do the rest.
Most sessions follow a similar approach. You find a comfortable spot to lie down, bringing a pillow, yoga mat, and blanket for comfort. You simply rest as the sound frequencies move through the room and settle in for as long as the session lasts.
People try sound healing for many reasons. Some come for stress. Some are processing grief. Others are working through something harder to name, like ancestral trauma that's been carried for a long time. Many come simply out of curiosity, wanting to feel what resonance actually feels like.
